The conference will be held on the campus of the MMSH (Maison méditerranéenne des sciences de l'homme), 5, rue du Château de l'horloge, Aix-en-Provence.

Aix-en-Provence, often referred to as the city of a thousand fountains, lies in the south of France, a few miles north of Marseille and the Mediterranean, in the heart of a region famous for its Gallo-Roman ruins and Romanesque churches, its natural beauty, and its incomparable climate. Aix is situated at the foot of the Montagne Sainte-Victoire, the subject of many paintings by Paul Cézanne, a native of Aix.
